Mass of Thanksgiving – Sunday, October 11
This past summer, three Aggie Catholics were ordained for the Diocese of Austin as priests. This weekend, we are excited to welcome back Fr. Brian McNaughton - Class of 2019 as he celebrates his Mass of Thanksgiving on Sunday, October 11, 2026 at the 6:00 PM Mass.
OCIA Rite of Election – Sunday, October 11
The Rite of Election will be taking place at the 6:00 PM Mass on Sunday, October 11. At this Mass, those preparing to receive their Sacraments of Initiation in November will be enrolled among the elect to receive the Sacraments as part of their final stage of preparation. Please note that Mass will be extended by a few minutes. Please keep all the elect in your prayers during these final days of preparation.
Adopt an Aggie – Sunday, October 11

St. Mary’s Activity Center
Join us after the 6 PM Mass for pizza, Spikeball, cornhole, giant Jenga, Connect Four, dominoes, icebreakers and more. Learn about Adopt an Aggie — local families host a group of students for a home-cooked meal about once a month.

Vocation Director Visit – October 13–14
Fr. Greg Gerhart, vocations director for the Diocese of Austin, will be visiting St. Mary's October 13-14 and available to offer one-on-one vocational direction meetings. Whether you are a man or woman discerning God’s calling for you in your life as a priest or consecrated or religious life, Fr. Greg desires to meet with you. Discernment Dinners – Wednesday, October 14
Curious about the Priesthood or the Consecrated Life? Join us for a Discernment Dinner on Wednesday, October 14! Men will meet at the Rectory and learn: "Prayer and Discernment Basics." Women will meet at the Apostles of the Interior Life's Convent and discover: "Do's & Don'ts of Discernment: Sr. Tatum's story." Catholic Missions Fair – Thursday, October 15
Come walk through the Student Center on Thursday, October 15 anytime between 4:00–7:00 PM to meet and learn about over 20 ministries that have come to St. Mary's to meet you! Whether you're looking for a full-time mission opportunity after graduation, a summer camp, or just interested in what mission options are available, the Catholic Missions Fair is for you!
Mission Trip Applications – Due Next Weekend!
Mission Trip Applications are due next Sunday, October 18! If you have any pull on your heart calling you to serve the poor through a mission trip, we encourage you to fill out an application! Necesito de Ti – November 20–22
Necesito de Ti is a Spanish retreat for students attending Texas A&M, RELLIS, and Blinn. This retreat provides an opportunity for students to grow in their faith, build meaningful friendships, and strengthen their relationship with God through prayer, reflection, and community.
