Discernment Dinners
Welcome! We’re excited to host you.
Do you sometimes wish you had an inside glimpse of what it looks like to be a sister or a priest? Every month, Fr. Will and Fr. Jakob open their rectory to the men, and the Apostles of the Interior Life open their home to the women, so that you know them better and learn more about the life of celibacy for the kingdom.
Discernment dinners are open to all students, so matter what your stage of vocational discernment is, you are invited to come and see (and taste). We can’t wait to welcome you!
“Return to your home, and declare how much God has done for you.” And he went away, proclaiming throughout the whole city how much Jesus had done for him.
– Luke 8:39
We sat down with newly ordained Deacon Chris Haberberger ‘16 as he reflected on how his time at St. Mary’s shaped his journey to the seminary and, God willing, to the priesthood in the Diocese of Austin.
