Parking at St. Mary’s Catholic Center
Welcome!
Whether you're here for Mass, a visit with a friend, or just curious about the big church across from campus—here’s everything you need to know about parking at St. Mary’s Catholic Center in College Station.
We know campus parking can feel overwhelming. We've made it as simple as possible, with free options for Mass, daily parking passes, and long-term permits for those here throughout the week.
Coming for Mass?
We’re honored to have you join us. Here’s how parking works depending on when you attend:
Weekend Masses & Evening Masses (after 4:00 PM)
No permit or payment required.
You can park in any maroon-marked area on our parking map:
Main church lot
Volleyball/Breen deck area
Gravel lot behind the John Paul II building
505 building lot (across Church Ave)
College Main Garage (free on Sundays from 6 AM–2 PM)
We encourage carpooling when possible, as space can be limited during busy liturgies.
Weekday Mass at 12:00 PM (Monday–Friday)
If you’re attending our 12:00 PM daily Mass, please note:
You must either check in at the front desk (for up to 3 hours of free parking),
or use the ParkMobile app to purchase a day pass ($5).Valid in green-marked areas only (see map below).
Because daily Mass falls within regular business hours, weekend rules do not apply.
Visiting during the Week?
We’re so glad you’re here!
If you're attending Noon Mass or visiting any time during business hours (Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM), please note:
You must check in at the front desk to register your vehicle for up to 3 hours of free parking OR
Purchase a $5 daily pass through the ParkMobile app (Zones 40951, 40952, or 40953)
If you're staying after your visit to go to class, grab lunch, or attend another campus event, we ask that you use the ParkMobile app to remain in good standing.
Parking Zones:
Maroon Areas: Reserved for short-term visitors and volunteers only
Green Areas: For students or guests with valid permits or active ParkMobile sessions
Yellow Areas: Reserved strictly for staff — please do not park here at any time during business hours
If the maroon visitor area is full, visitors may park in the green zones as long as they are properly checked in or have an active daily pass.
To avoid ticketing or towing, always make sure you’re either checked in or using ParkMobile—and double-check your zone color.

Game Day Mass Parking
St. Mary’s is located right across the street from Texas A&M, which makes football weekends exciting—but also affects parking on campus.
Here’s what you need to know if you're visiting us on a home football game day:
-
Most of our parking lot—including the main lot, volleyball court deck, and overflow gravel—is closed or reserved during home football games.
Public parking is not available on-site.
Towing is enforced by third-party vendors who manage game day operations in the area.
-
We offer limited paid parking for home Texas A&M football games at a rate of $20 per spot.
All proceeds go directly toward supporting our mission to form apostles for the Church and the world. By parking here, you're not just finding a convenient spot—you’re fueling life-changing ministry.
Spots are available on a first-come, first-served basis unless otherwise reserved.
-
Yes—we’re still open for Mass, and we’d love to see you!
To support Massgoers:
A clearly marked section of the main lot nearest the church is reserved for Mass attendance only
These spots are free of charge and available only during scheduled Mass times
Please arrive early and vacate promptly after Mass to allow others to attend
-
Expect road closures and extra foot traffic—leave plenty of time
Consider walking, biking, or carpooling if you live nearby
If the reserved Mass section is full, paid public garages like the College Main Garage or University Center Garage are nearby
