Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to be able to swim?

Everyone who attends must be able to swim. There will be complimentary life jackets for those that want them.

What can I wear?

We want everyone to have a great day! In an act to better love our brothers and sisters, please take into consideration the type of swimsuit you will wear.

Can I bring alcohol?

As a St. Mary’s group, we will be refraining from alcohol on the float.

What if I need a ride?

Others will help provide rides. When you sign up, you’ll select that you need a ride, and we’ll help arrange a carpool for you!

What can I bring with me?

You can bring anything you’d like as long as it is in a Non-Disposable Container, and remember: no glass and no styrofoam. There’s nowhere to stop along the river, so make sure you pack enough drinks and any snacks you want to enjoy during your float.

Do they have lockers?

They don’t have lockers, but they do keep your keys and ID as a deposit so we recommend locking up everything that you don’t want to get wet or potentially lose.
