Director of RCIA / Campus Minister

A native of New York City and the product of 18 years of Catholic School, Gerry holds a B.A. in Journalism and a Masters in Religious Education. The proud mother of 3 sons ( 2 Aggies – ‘01 and ‘04) and 3 grandchildren (Class of ‘25, ‘27, and '32), Gerry and John have been married for 39 years.
 
A former high school Theology, drama, philosophy and journalism major, Gerry also managed an ice rink and retired after 31 years in the U.S. Army. 
 
Here at St. Mary’s, the Hinces have worked with RCIA, the Marriage Support Team, the cemetery committee, silent workers and the Adopt an Aggie Program. They are currently the adopted family of Ken Woods and Mike Walker and their house is always open to Aggie Catholics.
 
In their non-St. Mary time, both are active members of the American Legion , Vietnam Veterans and the Bush library. Gerry is also President of the SJRHC Auxiliary.
 
Gerry loves to travel and read while eating dark chocolate and wearing a Steeler jersey. She is delighted to be working with RCIA!
