Ethics & Integrity

Ethics and Integrity in Ministry

On Jan. 1, 2002, the Austin Diocese instated new policies on Ethics and Integrity in Ministry for all those who work in the church, whether in paid or volunteer programs. Anyone - volunteers, paid staff or clergy -- who works with minors or vulnerable adults in a parish or diocesan setting is required to attend one of these workshops. You must also complete a Secure Online Application (eAppsDB) so that a criminal record check can be done.

St. Mary's also Requires all volunteers to complete a Volunteer Informational Sheet. You can download one to the right.
