Holy Days of "Opportunity"

Our Holy Day schedule varies depending on the A&M academic calendar, so please check the schedule of events on our main calendar page to be sure.
- Vigil Mass - we normally celebrate a vigil Mass for the Holy Day at 5:30pm the evening before.
- The vigil Mass satisfies the precept to join with the Catholic community at a Holy Day Mass.
- Holy Days of Obligation:
- January 1 - The Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God *
- Mass at 5:30 pm
- August 15 - The Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary *
- Mass at 5:30 pm
- November 1 - The Solemnity of All Saints *
- In 2008 All Saints Day is on a Saturday, so it is not a day of obligation We will have our normal Saturday schedule of Masses.

- Easter Vigil is the pinnacle of the church calendar. It's the parallel to Midnight Mass at Christmas. Come if you can, especially if you haven't been to one before! This is also an RCIA Mass, when we baptize and welcome new Catholics into the Church.
