$67,000 Gift Presentation from the Class of 2011
Aggies pride themselves on tradition. Honor, loyalty and service to others ... these are some of the traditions that Aggies refine at
For the past six years, the seniors from St. Mary’s have decided that they are not done serving. Some have spent three, four even five years as part of the Aggie Catholic family, but that is not enough for them. They have wanted to continue serving. They have wanted to keep growing the faith. They have wanted to leave a legacy. The Class Gift Program has allowed them to do just that. These young graduates have come together to create a legacy. These Class Gifts do not just leave a permanent fund to provide resources for future Aggie Catholics. The Class Gifts do not just leave a perpetual stream of revenue to keep Catholic campus ministry alive and strong. The Class Gifts provide hope. Every founder of their Class Gift knows that while they are leaving Aggieland, a part of them will remain to sustain the faith and devotion that is so evident at St. Mary’s. Their financial support will always be available to keep the ministry thriving and growing. In essence, they are sponsoring an Aggie Catholic every year - forever. And that is a good feeling.
Today, Old Ags are taking up the example of the recent graduates. Former Students all around the world are partnering with their classmates to create class gifts from each decade. The Classes of the 1940's Fund has been established and is growing. Members from the 1950's, 60's and on are beginning to create their legacy. If you or someone you know is a Former Student interested in supporting Catholic campus ministry in perpetuity, this is your opportunity.
Aggie Catholics need your support. Your class needs your support. The future of Catholic campus ministry at Texas A&M needs your support. Please consider being a part of your Class Gift.
