Guardians of the Eucharist
So that the Blessed Sacrament will never be abandoned, St. Mary's has an Adoration team known as the Guardians of the Eucharist. Guardians commit to one hour each week of prayer in Adoration before the Blessed Sacrament. Anyone who is interested in becoming a Guardian can contact one of the Adoration Coordinators.
There will be members of the Adoration team doing sign ups for the Fall semester after all daily Masses beginning on 24 August. Also, all weekend Masses starting with 22 August will also have a sign up table for you to become a Guardian of the Eucharist. Please also feel free to sign up at anytime at the Adoration table by the front desk in the Student Center. For anyone who signs up to be a Guardian of the Eucharist, come to the training session on 14 Septemer, 2009, at 12:30 pm after the 11:00 am Mass. This meeting will introduce you to the great blessing of being a Guardian as well as the duties of being with the Lord as a Guardian.
