Bring extra cash for some lunch!
The float trip is in New Braunfels. Fr. Will will celebrate an optional Mass in the Historic Church at 6:30am. If you’re not attending Mass, please arrive to the St. Mary’s parking lot at 6:55am to leave at 7:00am. Scroll down for a FAQ on what to bring, and we’ll see you on the river!
Refunds will be given for weather cancellation. You MUST fill out an AOR to be able to attend.
Please contact Libby at ldiamond@aggiecatholic.org if you have any questions.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to be able to swim?
Everyone who attends must be able to swim. There will be complimentary life jackets for those that want them.
What can I wear?
We want everyone to have a great day! In an act to better love our brothers and sisters, please take into consideration the type of swimsuit you will wear.
Can I bring alcohol?
As a St. Mary’s group, we will be refraining from alcohol on the float.
What if I need a ride?
We will use your info submitted in your registration form to help you find a ride if needed. Please feel free to reach out to Libby at ldiamond@aggiecatholic.orgwith any questions.
What can I bring with me?
You can bring anything you’d like as long as it is in a Non-Disposable Container, and remember: no glass and no styrofoam. There’s nowhere to stop along the river, so make sure you pack enough drinks and any snacks you want to enjoy during your float.
Do they have lockers?
We will be floating with Texas Tubes and they do not have lockers available, but they do keep your keys and ID as a deposit so we recommend locking up everything that you don’t want to get wet or potentially lose.
